WordCamp Belgrade 2018
For the first time ever, rankingCoach went to one of the WordCamp Europe events this year in Belgrade, Serbia. Being welcomed by such wonderful volunteers the team members from rankingCoach GmbH had an amazing time. Even as first-time exhibitors, the volunteers Luca, Jonas, and Anastasio made the away team feel like family and helped welcome them to the community.
This event brought out the best from every company that invested their time and effort to be present there, providing some of the most remarkable interactions and business meetings yet! All of which made the already great party even more interesting and worthwhile.
Another part of the event that made it just that more memorable was the Keynote and Q&A given by Matt Mullenweg. As one of the co-founders of WordPress, Mullenweg spoke about the new visual editor “Gutenberg”.
Due to an overload of interest from attendees to meet and find out who we are and what we offer as newbies to the event, we spent almost the entire duration of the event at our booth. This didn't provide us with the time to sit in on more talks and workshops, something that definitely we will do next time. Overall the trip to Belgrade was an exceptional experience and we look forward to being accepted into the community, sharing our stories and experiences, and taking part in more events, workshops, and social gatherings.
