Fraud alert: Scammers impersonating rankingCoach

Written by Admin | 7/1/25 8:13 AM

Impersonation fraud is unfortunately on the rise, and the rankingCoach brand has recently become a target. We are treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and want to ensure that all users, followers, and partners are fully informed and protected.

What’s happening?

We have received multiple reports of scammers falsely claiming to represent rankingCoach, primarily contacting individuals via WhatsApp and LinkedIn. These fraudsters are targeting professionals in the digital marketing industry, often posing as recruiters or partners.

The most common scams include:

  • Fake job offers, often involving freelance marketing tasks

  • Requests to test tools or write reviews in exchange for promised payments

  • Cryptocurrency scams, where individuals are pressured to transfer money with the false promise of receiving a cash payout in a few days, which never happens

These impersonators illegally use our brand name, logo, and identity to appear legitimate and deceive victims.

What you need to know

Let us be clear: These activities are in no way connected to rankingCoach.

To protect yourself, please keep the following in mind:

  • rankingCoach does not offer job opportunities or freelance tasks via LinkedIn DMs, WhatsApp, or text messages.
  • We never request cryptocurrency transfers under any circumstances.
  • All official communications from rankingCoach come only through our verified channels. Our official and only website is www.rankingcoach.com
